Q: Why did you decide to go into interior design?
A: “I believe design is about helping people, and that’s what I want to do!”

Q: Why did you choose OPX?
A: “It seemed like a team oriented environment and that they invest in their people, and that is the kind of place I want to work in.”

Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, living or passed, who would it be?
A: “Nelson Mandela.”

Q: Tell us more about yourself!
A: “I have 6 siblings – 3 brothers and 3 sisters and I’m the baby. I grew up in Ethiopia and moved to the states in 2009 to attend Virginia Tech, so I’ve been here for 7 years. My whole family is still in Ethiopia, except me and my oldest sister who lives in Memphis. I visited Ethiopia last March and that was the last time I had been back in 4 years! I love to travel and have an inner passion for sports, health and the active lifestyle.”

Welcome, Nujuma!
